Introduction to the Farm

We invite you to come and stay!  Share our life living and working on the farm.

We are Will, Anna, Daisy and Bertie Brock and we launched Feather Down Farm Days in the UK here at Manor Farm in 2006.  We love running our luxury campsite and welcoming guests here has brought the farm alive.  We like to think that our campsite is one of the best kept secrets in Hampshire and although we want to keep it that way we thought it was about time we shouted a bit more about what we get up to and how you can share a weekend or a holiday here.

Will’s family have farmed at Manor Farm for over 125 years and we still farm in the traditional way.  Some of the machinery may be bigger but the sheep still graze our beautiful land.  That is the tip of the iceberg though. There is tonnes to do on the farm and in the surrounding area.

Located in the South Downs National Park and only an hour from London come and see for yourselves why we have so many returning guests each year.

Will Brock

Fourth generation farmer. Studied Agriculture at Sparsholt, Hampshire and University of Minneapolis, USA. Helped to establish Feather Down Farms in the UK. Now overseeing development and introducing fresh thinking to the management of the ever-expanding sheep flock, arable land and farm diversifications. England’s cleanest farmer, rarely wears overalls, has been seen in amongst the dirtiest of jobs but invariably emerges without stain.

Anna Brock

Charmingly efficient. Formerly Assistant NFU Group Secretary and founder of ready meal business Anna’s Kitchen, runs Manor Farm Feather Down Campsite with Will and raises and inspires Daisy (18) and Bertie (16). Surprisingly creative considering the high speed she moves at. Recently qualified as a Nutritional Therapist and Coach.

Daisy Brock

Nuts about all animals in particular horses and Springador's.  When this picture was taken she was the trainee shepherdess in charge of orphan lambs and her ambition was to ride at Olympia horse show, not alot has changed except she no longer allows us to post her picture online and if she is not at home, she is probably socialising at University.

Bertie Brock

Loves football, golf, padel and any activity which involves running and/or a ball.  Massive Southampton football Club supporter despite the ups and downs this hobby comes with. He's obviously alot bigger than this now but trying to pin him down for a new photo is impossible.

Luki Reynolds

Visited the farm on work experience placement when still at school and after displaying remarkable keenness for fencing was prevented from ever leaving. He used to be incredibly shy but over the years we have turned him into our very own Ray Mears. If he wasn't busy enough managing the Manor Farm sheep he now manages his own flock too.  He is usually buzzing about on the quad bike or farm buggy and at the weekends or evenings he may well be joined by his lovely family who luckily love the animals as much as he does.
